Why do we need this network?
Paul, like many other acupuncturists, has been concerned about recent reports that beauty colleges and schools may be considering training their students in cosmetic acupuncture. He feels this is totally unacceptable and dilutes a profession that many have trained for years to be part of.
Cosmetic acupuncture (also known as facial enhancement, facial revitalisation or facial rejuvenation acupuncture) is an holistic treatment that treats the whole person, Paul feels that it is important to preserve the professionalism and high standards of this treatment.
Paul is passionate about acupuncture and the benefits that it brings to his patients, but he is also practical and realises that acupuncturists need to earn a living and run businesses in an ever more competitive environment.
It is for all of the reasons, outlined above, that he set about creating this exciting network for professional practitioners and for those seeking a cosmetic acupuncturist they can trust.
Cosmetic Acupuncture UK Membership
A one year's subscription to CAUK is £99 and cosmetic acupuncturists can apply by visiting the application page.
This annual fee includes full membership, including a listing on this website featuring a link to your website, a listing in the online Cosmetic Acupuncture 'Gift Experience' and much more. (see benefits)
Cosmetic Acupuncture UK Membership Criteria
Cosmetic Acupuncture UK is a professional practitioner network and, as such, members must meet the following criteria:
Applicants must be qualified acupuncturists and hold a recognised degree or qualification.
Acupuncturists must hold up-to-date practitioner insurance.
Practitioners are required to have training in facial/cosmetic acupuncture, this can be from any recognised source.
Membership of CAUK is not guaranteed and is subject to the final approval of Paul Adkins. The network will be a resource for the general public and practitioners alike, and will contain details of only the most highly qualified and reputable cosmetic acupuncturists
in the UK.
Membership of CAUK will only be open to the acupuncture profession, no beauty consultants etc. will be considered.

Members will have exclusive access to the CAUK forum. This will give everyone on the network the opportunity to discuss cosmetic acupuncture and other topics of interest.

CAUK Insurance
Our insurance policy covers CAUK members for Acupuncture and Cosmetic Acupuncture (not all existing policies recognise Cosmetic Acupuncture; this policy covers your normal Acupuncture and Cosmetic treatments as well). Only £84 per annum. Contact us for details
